Gillian Brett was born in Paris in 1990. Her practice questions the growing place of the machines in human life and our relationship to technology through various thematics and mediums. She graduated with a Master of Fine Arts at Villa Arson in Nice (France) and has a Postgraduate Diploma in Fine Art from Goldsmiths College, University of London (UK). In 2013, she was a visiting student at Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Vienna and began a work around the Wiener Prater. In March 2016, she won the Prix Dauphine pour l’Art Contemporain in France. She exhibited in France, United Kingdom and Austria.
