Selected by a call for proposals, the jury, consisting of Pablo Chiereghin (artist), Alexandra Grausam (director das weisse haus and studio das weisse haus), Barbara Horvath (curator and director Kunstverein Eisenstadt), Katja Stecher (program manager studio das weisse haus) and Reinhold Zisser (founder of Notgalerie Seestadt – DREAM ESTATE), Simona Pavoni’s proposal met the assessment criteria in the most convincing manner, is a promising innovative concepts as well as ensures an engagement with the public art site. In a world where everything seems to get more and more disconnected, the artist seeks to conjoin time and space with the human body. Her approach of re-contextualization goes away from the trend of de-contextualizing. Out of used and found materials, she will create a small space that offers visitors an intimate place where they can reconcile their body and mind.
